A round of playgarden and a 'tour' of Grubbenvorst

Start out from Sunparks Limburgse Peel by car, driving along idyllic roads to Grubbenvorst that is just 16 km away. Key in 'Meerlosebaan 22' into your SatNav. You will be driving straight into the forests around Grubbenvorst. Just across from Meerlosebaan 22 is the Mart Roeffen playgarden where you can safely leave your kids to their own devices to try out all kinds of playground rides. And it will not cost you a penny : everything is free of charge, right down to visiting the loo.
In the afternoon, you will be heading out to Grubbenvorst village centre. De Oosterse Zwaan (The Oriental Swan) Chinese restaurant on the village square serves delectable Chinese meals ... oozing the atmosphere of a luxurious Dutch farmstead.
After dessert, it is time to rent a pedal bike on the village square to set out in exploration of the local area. Set out from the square and follow the Grubbenvorst trail, taking in a total of around 16 km. During your cycle trip, you will be riding along tranquil areas of natural beauty, asparagus fields as well as the banks of the river Maas. The trail neatly returns you to the village square.
