Steaming through the bay of the Somme

Have you always wanted to ride on a charming steam train? Cross the bay of the Somme in a unique way.

If you want to explore the Somme in style, you board the stately train. This train has been in service for 80 years already, but it is still steam-powered. From April to October you can travel from van Cayeux-sur-Mer to Le Crotoy Quay. On the route between these two coastal points, you pass along extensive fields and swaying reed beds.

Fancy a shorter trip? Join the train in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme. Then you follow an idyllic route along the bay of the Somme that takes about an hour. Le Crotoy is the end point. You can be sure this is something your kids will enjoy.
