Breendonk Fort
Back to the listThe Breendonk Fort can be found approximately 20 km south of Antwerp. During the Second World War, the fort was used by the Nazis as a work and transition camp. The Breendonk Fort is the only camp in Western Europe that is still intact, and an important memorial to the war and the atrocities committed by the Nazis.
